Cooperation in International Large Scale Assessments: Joint SACMEQ - IEA - PASEC Meeting at IIEP Paris on 29 May.

On Tuesday 29 May 2012, the Southern and Eastern African Consortium for Monitoring Educational Quality in cooperation with the IIEP hosted a meeting between three organizations that are key players in conducting large scale international assessments of student achievements.
The meeting was attended by members of the scientific and technical committees of SACMEQ, the ‘Programme d'analyse des systemes educatifs de la CONFEMEN (PASEC), and the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA). The delegates discussed technical matters relating to large-scale international assessments and the need for closer cooperation to ensure future international comparability of data across the three organisations.
