SACMEQ is prepared to make the SACMEQ Data Archive and related documentation arising from its two educational policy research studies (SACMEQ I and SACMEQ II) available to bona fide researchers and students. SACMEQ reserves the right to decide, without providing reasons, to whom the Data Archive will be made available. It is a condition for obtaining or using the SACMEQ Data Archive that no publication based in any way on the data will be released without first seeking approval from the SACMEQ Consortium via the SACMEQ Co-ordinating Centre. Approval to use the SACMEQ Data Archive may be withdrawn if the conditions contained in this Agreement and Application Form have not been met by any of the approved users.Although much care was taken to ensure that the information contained in the SACMEQ Data Archive is correct, neither SACMEQ, the SACMEQ Co-ordinating Centre (SCC), the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP), any SACMEQ country, or any person working or having worked for these institutions and countries can be held responsible for any errors and/or omissions in the SACMEQ Data Archive and for any consequence whatsoever.
