Over the years, SACMEQ has built an extensive network of ‘external friends’, some of whom are occasionally consulted on detailed technical information and advice on SACMEQ Projects.

Dr Tia Linda Zuze is a senior lecturer in economics at the Wits Business School in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Professor Patrick Griffin holds the Chair of Education (Assessment) at the University of Melbourne, Australia and is Director of the Assessment Research Centre there.

Professor Servaas van den Berg is a Professor of Economics and the National Research Foundation Research Chair in the Economics of Social Policy, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Professor David Andrich is Chapple Professor at the Graduate School of Education, The University of Western Australia in Perth, Australia.
